Welcome to Riverside Community Church's website!

Riverside Community Church started in August of 2000, with a group of over 300 people. They didn't think that Peoria needed another church, but they did believe it needed a different kind of church – a church that was relevant to life today and was working to meet the needs of the community in a practical way.

A lot has changed since then as we've grown in size and have expanded to include multiple services, but the same belief and values continue to guide our church. We believe that church should be a relevant and exciting place where you can meet with God, meet with other people and get involved in our community.

Our church is full of people who have discovered an incredible relationship with Jesus, a relationship that impacts every aspect of life, a relationship worth sharing. Contrary to the view held by many, Jesus is not dull and irrelevant; he's not weak or uninterested. Jesus is passionately interested in you; he cares deeply about you and wants to be involved in your life! He came to give each one of us a sense of purpose and fulfillment; it's that we celebrate together!
